About this rug
A spirited tribal rug from the Turkmen weaving region of northern Iran, woven in wool on a wool foundation. A coral-red stepped medallion with an ivory star-filled centre sits on a navy field scattered with small blossoms, framed by ivory and saffron geometric borders. Its bold, graphic design and soft hand make it ideal for a study, entrance or bedroom.
