Kashmar rugs are distinguishable for their unique patterns, often borrowing various designs from different regions. The design of this Kashmar rug is acquired from city of Tabriz. It elaborates floral displays with a beautiful medallion centre. This rug is hand-knotted very densely by skilled artisan weaver on cotton foundation with high quality silk and wool pile. It features colour tones of red and black, accented with subtle gray, mauve, taupe, light blue, and brown.
